Scott Pullins is an attorney, charter school board member, consultant, political analyst, and writer. He provides services to small businesses, individuals, financial entities, and political organizations.
Scott Pullins has advised clients on complex legal, business, marketing and public policy issues. He cofounded and led Ohio's only statewide, pro-taxpayer organization for over ten years. Through that work Scott Pullins appeared as a guest or was interviewed by the Fox News Channel, Court TV, the Ohio News Network, Ohio Public TV and Radio, Clear Channel Radio, National Public Radio, and various major television network affiliates. Scott Pullins was also interviewed or had guest columns appear in very major Ohio newspaper, several national newspapers and most other daily and weekly newspapers throughout Ohio.
Scott Pullins serves as a top adviser Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder, the first speaker to take over after Ohio imposed term limits. Speaker Householder recently became the first person to return to that position in over 60 years. He served as a consultant to Ohio Members of Congress Jean Schmidt, Jim Jordan, and Bob Latta and wrote a popular political blog.
During the recent economic crisis, Pullins temporarily joined JPMorgan Chase and worked in the Mortgage Banking Executive Office. There, he worked on the Independent Foreclosure Review and helped resolve highly escalated complaints that consumers made to the CFPB and government officials and agencies.
In addition to his legal practice, Scott Pullins has written for 3rd Rail Politics and The Ohio Star. He is also a charter school board member. Scott Pullins is the Founding Chairman of the Board of Directors of ILEAD Spring Meadows charter school in Holland, Ohio. He is the Founding Treasury for the Board of Directors of the South Columbus Preparatory Academy, part of the Accel network. He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Inspire Elementary School.
Mr. Pullins attended Ohio University and earned his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School.
